From 2000 to 2001, Locus founder and CEO Jean-Paul Gauthier assisted the Government of Kazakhstan under the USAID's Trade Facilitation and Investment Project. The project aimed to improve the trade and investment environment for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Jean-Paul served as a senior consultant from The Services Group (TSG), which is now AECOM International. His work focused on the removal of investment constraints, including reducing regulatory burdens and making procedures more efficient.
